What have I been up to

So it's 2017 and I'm back. It's been really busy four months. I'm in high school. School is taking most of my energy because I have to study harder than before. At least I got to spend the rest of the year with such amazing people.

Since I started high school I've met so many unique and amazing people. I had never imagined I could feel so welcome and safe somewhere, at least not so fast. First when school started I didn't know almost anyone and those few I did know where in different groups. I thought it would be the same as when I started 7th grade, that I would be lonely the first couple of months. But it went a little bit different. In the first two week I had already gotten few new friends. This surprised me. Even more surprised I was about the fact that I became friends with some guys too. I usually get along with everyone but I don't for some reason usually become friends with boys. Since then I've been getting more and more friends. The first friend I made during the first week of school. I had my first psychology class and the teacher gave us some questions and told us to pair up with someone we didn't know. So I just looked around the room and this one girl's eyes met mine and she just sort of asked with his hands do I want to be her partner. I just nodded my head and sat next to her. We learned that we have a lot in common. Now she is one of my best friends. If I remember right I made one more friend during the first week and this was the one I was surprised about. I had Swedish class and I had found a place. At first I was sitting alone but then I heard behind me a boy saying "Is this seat taken?". I told him no and he sat there and introduced himself. Now he is one of my best friends too. I was kind of sad to learn later that I would have had a chance to meet him half a year earlier if I hadn't turned down a play I had gotten into. I've gotten so many great friends that I share the same interests with. 

Luckily school isn't only studying. I'm in a articulacy school so we have these amazing media, theater and other classes. So far I've had short film, photography and radio drama classes. Right now I have another short film class going on and next next month I start an acting class. I'm so happy I got in that school. I don't believe that I would have felt so good anywhere else. I've found my place.

Just to share some of my thoughts about how I've gotten here. Don't worry, not trying to brainwash you or anything. I believe that God has a plan for all of us. That plan consists of all the people we meet, all the places we go and all the things we do. And part of His plan for me was that I get in that school and meet these people who changed my life. And for that part of the plan I am really thankful for and thank God for it always when I remember. 

Every day He gives us a new chance to do something new and change our actions even though He already knows what we are going to do, but even bigger chance we get when a new year starts. So happy late New Year to all of you and this year do something new and change your life.

This year has consisted of so many things,

so many unforgettable moments.

I can't thank you all enough,

things to be thankful for, there are so many of those.

Many really good friends,

new, old, seeds of happiness.

There's a new page in the book of memories,

when it's time to say goodbye to this year.

Time to look to the future,

oh, what adventures will it bring.

I can't wait for for all the fun moments,

journeys of life to walk with friends.
